The Livingston Writing Center at the Livingston Writing Program Office is a satellite office of the Rutgers-New Brunswick Writing Program. Our office is open to all students currently enrolled in Rutgers Writing Program courses in New Brunswick, and we are conveniently located to serve students and instructors whose classes meet on the Livingston and Busch campuses.

FALL 2007

Students:

If you are a student in a Writing Program course, working regularly with a tutor will help you to develop the skills you need in order to become a stronger reader and writer. To enroll for tutoring, please print out our enrollment form and come to our offices at Lucy Stone Hall beginning Monday, September 17, 2007. Here is a link to the hours during which the Writing Center will be accepting enrollments plus additional information about enrolling in the Writing Center. In order to enroll, you must come in-person to the Writing Program offices in Lucy Stone Hall, B-Wing, B104A during these hours.

Tutors:

The Livingston Writing Center is now hiring tutors for the Fall 2007 semester. Please fill out an application, attach a copy of 5- to 10-page academic writing sample, and bring both to the Writing Program offices at Lucy Stone Hall, B-Wing, B104A, or fax it to us at 732-445-5654. Additional information on applying can be found on the application form.

If you include an original paper as your writing sample, please indicate how you would like it returned to you.
